1. Where is Luna Lodge located?
Luna Lodge is nestled in the pristine rainforest of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica, near Corcovado National Park.
2. How do I get to Luna Lodge?
Guests typically fly into San José (SJO), then take a domestic flight to Puerto Jiménez. From there, Luna Lodge can arrange ground transportation or a scenic charter flight to the local airstrip.
3. Can I drive to Luna Lodge?
Yes, a 4WD vehicles is a must. The drive from Puerto Jiménez takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

4. What types of accommodations are available?
Luna Lodge offers luxury bungalows, hacienda-style rooms, and platform tents—each designed for comfort, privacy, and immersion in nature.
5. Are the rooms equipped with electricity and Wi-Fi?
Yes, Luna Lodge is powered by hydro and solar. All accommodations have electicity. Wi-Fi is available in the main rancho, though we encourage guests to unplug and immerse in nature.
6. Is Luna Lodge suitable for families or groups?
Absolutely! We welcome families, small groups, and retreat gatherings. However, due to the remote location and natural environment, we do not recommend stays for infants or very young children. Please contact us in advance to discuss the best options for your group.

Yes—part of the rainforest experience! Rooms are screened, and mosquito nets are provided for comfort. But the rainforest on the Osa Peninsula is in balance.
16. Do I need vaccinations or malaria pills?
We recommend consulting your physician. While the risk is low, some guests choose to take precautions.

Do I need a visa to visit the Osa Peninsula if I’m traveling to Costa Rica?
Most travelers from the U.S., Canada, the EU, and many other countries do not need a visa for stays under 180 days. A valid passport (more than 6 months) and proof of onward travel are required.
Are there ATMs or banks on the Osa Peninsula?
ATMs are available in Puerto Jiménez and Drake Bay, but may be unreliable or run out of cash. Bring enough colones or USD (in small denominations) for tips, tours, and incidentals.

What’s the difference between the dry and green season on the Osa Peninsula?
